Stylish V12 Vanquish with an intoxicating exhaust note; 6-speed flappy
paddle transmission; 2-seat version; a well loved local example
Supplied new in November 2002, this stylish yet brutishly handsome
Vanquish is finished in Pennine Grey and sits upon its original 12-spoke alloy
wheels. A pair of discreet exhaust tips peek out of the rear which
shout this beasts performance, leaving no doubt there’s a 5.9 litre AM03 V12
engine under the bonnet. Developing 460Bhp with drive sent to the rear wheels,
there is a six-speed automated sequential transmission with flappy paddles to
change up and down behind the steering wheel.
Inside this
Vanquish, we note this car is in 2+0 configuration, meaning no rear seats with a
lovely black leather interior.
This Vanquish has been with
our local vendor some 14 years and shows 92,000 miles, of which he has covered
40,000 of those miles during his enjoyable tenure.
The history file
includes the V5C showing 10 former keepers, the metal owner’s manual with
service section recording 10 stamps, (the last in June 2015 at 83,772 miles by
Bamford Rose AM dealer which was a major service) plus other repairs detailed on
the accompanying invoice along with 8 old MOTs, a current MOT valid until
February 2025 which recorded no advisories and a selection of maintenance
bills.
Recent works include a £1,538
spend in August 2024 on a service plus new battery at 91,429 miles. Other bills of note include a £3,889
spend in 2016 on an annual service plus PAS pump, AC compressor, front cover oil
seal and drive belt/pulleys at 88,648 miles. A further £4,389 was spent in 2015
again on an annual service plus brake pads all round, hydraulic lash adjusters,
diff bushes, fuel filters and gearbox pump at 83,550 miles. £6,554 was also spent in 2012 on a 15k service
plus other bits.
More historic bills on file
also show the car was subject to the Gearbox TYCO sensor upgrade kit in 2011 and
our vendor’s purchase in 2010 for £43,000.
A smart, handsome and very
fast Coupe with a soundtrack to die for and a top speed capability of about
190mph. Food for thought there, and
all for only £30,000….Chequebook!
