Lot Ended
Description
One of just eight made by
Jennings of Crewe; ex-Cheshire Fire Service; recent light recommissioning; good
running order with all lights working; ideal show
vehicle
First registered in October
1981 this Stage I is believed to be one of just eight Land Rovers converted by
Jennings Coachworks of Crewe for the Cheshire Fire
Service.
Released from service in 2009,
it then went on to spend three years with the Cheshire Fire Cadets, and is
thought to have spent its entire working life at Holmes Chapel fire
station.
The odometer is reading 33,000
miles however we are informed by the vendor that the speedo cable is
broken.
Recently back on the road
after a light recommissioning including a new water pump, radiator and
electronic ignition.
Running and driving on site,
with all lights in working order, this looks like a fun bit of kit to show
off.
