Description
From a deceased estate; only 41,200 miles indicated; in the
current family ownership since 1999; 6-speed manual; Cup wheels; Sports
seats; driven to the sale; a cherished example of this air-cooled
classic
On offer from a deceased' estate, this 1994 Carrera 3.6
Cabriolet was supplied through AFN to a local Chiswick gent on 31st August 1994.
Painted Polar Silver Metallic with a navy blue hood, he chose Midnight Blue
leather for the optional Sports seats with electric height adjust, 17" New Cup
Design wheels, anti-theft system and a Bremen RCM 42 Radio Cassette.
The
car changed hands in 1996 and again in 1998 before coming into the hands of our
vendor's brother (now deceased) in 1999. Although the V5C shows six previous
keepers, due to changes in address details and transference into the name of the
owner's brother (executor) it has only really had four owners, being in the
current family ownership since 1999.
The service book shows four
stamps, all main dealer at 9,653 miles in 1996, 15,308 in 1998, 19,939 miles in
1999 and 32,407 miles in 2001 - a bill from Evans Halshaw in Stourbridge exists
on file for this service.
We are unsure of its subsequent servicing as
there is no detail on file, although it was MOTd regularly at Central Garage in
Church Stretton and last visited the Porsche Centre in Wolverhampton in November
2022 at 41,084 miles for a levels check and a new fuse for the interior
light.
The car has seen little use, it's low mileage of just 41,205 miles
being supported by it's remarkably clean MOT history. It has covered just 1,350
miles over the last 10 years and is MOT'd until October 2024 with no advisories
recorded, having covered just 42 miles since the test - most of these clocked up
as it was driven to the sale.
The option sticker is still in place on the
underside of the bonnet. It comes with a neat hood cover, wind deflector and the
power hood works smoothly. It also has a very smart branded indoor car cover.
The file also includes the full book pack and spare keys.
The last of the
air-cooled 911s, these 993 versions are rightly prized by Porsche aficionados
and values have risen steadily. Small, quick and nimble, they are also
blessed with a remarkably comfortable ride and exceptional build quality.
This low-mileage beauty, with the essential manual
'box, looks excellent value at the guide price suggested.
